Marcell is a pass rushing specialist. He comes from a long line of Missouri pass rushing talent. He showed great tape from his game against Arkansas in 2016, posting 4 TFL and 3 Sacks. He has a relentless burst and will attack the ball. He just has a knack for getting home.

He was not invited to the NFL Combine, but on his Pro day ran the 40 Yard dash between 4.60 and 4.65, which is a solid number for a man of his size. It would be nice to get some numbers from the bench press because overall the consensus I have read and seen is that he has some trouble handling elite strength. Can and should get stronger. Overall technique in the run game can improve as well, with being more physical and setting the edge.

How He Fits

Marcel Frazier is a sold prospect with potential. I’m not sure if Frazier can play in space though. With Mike Pettine’s scheme being so versatile, any player really has a chance to shine in that system. Frazier as a rotational player in certain sub packages that can utilize his tenacity for the ball will be something that Packers fans can really get behind.

This one is hard to really get a pulse on. The NFL didn’t think he was good enough to invite him to the Combine, and according to NFL.com is projected to be a 5th or 6th round pick. After his pro-day work out showing his speed and movement skill he may be able to improve on this. I can actually see Marcell Frazier going Late 3rd round.
