DeAngelo Yancey: The Second Coming of James Jones

Yancey is the big physical receiver that the Packers were missing last season with the departure of James Jones. His size and physical testing is so close to that of James Jones coming out of San Jose State, it’s almost scary. In fact, his physical traits match Jones’s 91.9% according to mockdraftable.com. Rest assured, Yancey is a much better of an athlete than the James Jones we saw in 2015.

Josh Jones: There’s a New #27 in Town

With the 29th pick in the 2nd round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected…a safety from NC State named Josh Jones. I am fairly certain a select population of Packer fans had a mini freakout when they heard the news. Personally, I have zero problem with that pick. In fact, this is one of my top 3 favorite picks, in a draft I really liked. Many thought pass rusher was the way to go with this pick, but fear not fellow Packers fans, Ted Thompson and company did their homework with this selection.
