How Problematic is the Packers Slight Lack of Talent at Wideout?
Three weeks into the season, you start to notice trends in the NFL. The Packers defense is able to rush the QB and force opposing QB’s into tight spots, forcing more turnovers. The offensive line has been able to keep some of the most vaunted pass rushers off Rodgers, and is something this offense can build off of. The biggest takeaway for me is, the Packers don’t have a true number 2 receiving threat. Don’t get me wrong, I believe they have talent that could develop into that (Valdes-Scantling, St. Brown), but no one right now can consistently win opposite of Adams. How bad is it and what should the Packers do? Let’s take a look at what has made this Packers offense so potent in the past, and see what they could do moving forward.
