Strengths

Lazard has a build for Tight end and is willing to convert from receiver to the position.  His size and speed make him an excellent move tight end.  He is too tall for corners and linebackers to cover and too fast for safeties and some linebackers. Had great production for the Cyclones and helped turned around the program.  Can play the perimeter from his Iowa state days as an outside recitative.

Weaknesses

Lazard had drop issues at the senior bowl and is very raw as a tight end prospect.  He may take time to develop as a true tight end but could be a great receiving threat at the position.

How He Fits

Lazard fits as a project tight end but can be used as a receiving tight end and a potential replacement for Kendricks or Graham. His size makes him a intriguing project in the 4th or 5th rounds.  Lazard could be a Ricky Seals-Jones clone in the NFL.

Projection

Roound 4-5.
