Alex Cappa Is a “Nasty” player. He exhibits the Size, Flexibility, and Attitude To excel as an NFL Offensive Lineman. He has the Size and Nasty to be a Solid RT in this league. He completely took over games in DII football. Which is exactly what you really have to do on that level to give yourself the best shot of being drafted early, or even at all. He received high Praise from Mike Mayock, ‘the nastiest tape I’ve ever seen’ Mike Mayock is one of the best Talent evaluators alive on the planet in my opinion and this take on Cappa is why I chose to do some scouting on him myself. Does Nasty mean he will be a good NFL Offensive Linemen? That is a question only time will tell.

Level of Competition, Will need to prove he can compete against the best Pass Rushers, (did show flashed at The Senior Bowl), Needs to fill out his frame a bit, should work on Pass Blocking technique against Speed Rushers.

How He Fits

There is a need at guard. I don’t believe he would be a day one starter, but could be a starter in a year or two, while Jahri Evans holds it down until then, should he return. He could fit that versatile combo role the Packers absolutely covet in offensive lineman, at LT, RG, RT.
